Dr. (Gp. Capt) K.M. Babu is a highly accomplished Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, and Infertility Specialist with over three decades of experience in both military and civilian healthcare. A pioneer in gynaecological innovation, he has introduced several patented surgical instruments and techniques, including a new method of uterine closure and modified devices for cost-effective procedures.

Trained at premier institutions like the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, and the Army Hospital (R&R), Delhi, Dr. Babu holds a WHO Fellowship in IVF and has taught undergraduate and postgraduate students extensively. He currently serves as a Consultant Gynaecologist at Caritas Hospital, Kottayam, and is also a Professor affiliated with RGUHS Bangalore.

A prolific academic, he has authored multiple research papers and book chapters and has been recognized as the Best Referee by the Medical Journal of Armed Forces India. His holistic approach combines clinical excellence, innovation, and a deep commitment to women’s health.
