The Manager – Talent Development & Culture plays a strategic and hands-on role in shaping a high-performing, values-driven culture across Oceania Hospitals (OHPL). This role is responsible for leading initiatives that build leadership capability, drive employee engagement, enhance performance, and support the development and retention of talent aligned with our organizational values and mission to deliver quality healthcare.
VAC 49/2025 MANAGER TALENT DEVELOPMENT AND CULTURE
Reporting to the Head of People, Culture and Learning, your primary responsibilities are to:
- Design and implement talent development programs that build leadership capability and support career progression across clinical and non-clinical roles.
- Oversee succession planning and workforce capability initiatives to ensure the organization is prepared for future talent needs.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies that strengthen a values-driven organizational culture aligned with OHPLs mission.
- Drive employee engagement efforts, including survey administration and action planning, to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to deliver strategic people initiatives that align talent, culture, and workforce planning with business objectives.
- Lead change management efforts for culture and development initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop and deliver engaging internal communications that promote learning, culture, and engagement initiatives to staff at all levels.
- Support the Head of People, Culture and Learning in delivering the broader People and Culture Strategy across the organisation.
The successful applicant should possess the following skills & attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology, or a related field. (Master’s Degree preferred)
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in talent development, learning, or culture-related roles.
- Thorough knowledge of Talent Management & Culture Development principles and best practices, data analysis and reporting
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Detail oriented, Proficient in computing and use of office equipment
- A strong multi-tasker, with excellent time management abilities
- Able to work independently while working well with various teams to deliver outcomes.
An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate commensurate with qualifications and experience.
