We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and ambitious Graduate Accountant to join our dynamic Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, a willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment. VAC 56/2025 GRADUATE ACCOUNTANT

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your primary responsibilities are to:

  • Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and internal standards.
  • Assist in the Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable functions.
  • Assist in preparation of daily bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts.
  • Assist and coordinate stock takes and report variances.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate any variances or anomalies.
  • Assist Finance Manager with annual budget preparation and periodic forecast updates.
  • Ensure that financial activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
  • Assist in the preparation and lodgement of VAT, and other tax obligations
  • Assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks and financial projects

The successful applicant preferably should have the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is desirable.
  • Membership or progress toward membership with a professional accounting body (e.g. CPA Australia, FIA, CA) will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
  • Competent IT skills (MS Office Suite)

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate commensurate with qualifications and experience.
