We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Dietician to join our Dietetics and Nutrition team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nutrition care to patients and ensuring that hospital dietary services meet the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and clinical excellence. The Dietician will conduct nutritional assessments, develop patient-specific care plans, provide nutrition education, and monitor patient outcomes to support optimal health and recovery.

VAC. 66/2025 DIETICIAN

Reporting to the Manager Dietetics and Nutrition, your primary responsibilities are to:

• Assist in Conducting food evaluation, write nutrition support reports when required, carry outpatient counselling and diet planning.
• Formulate Food/diet programs/menu surveillance and preparations for the Oceania Hospitals food outlet.
• Preparing budgets and purchasing food, equipment and supplies.
• Work with the Manager D & N to ensure OHS compliance in the Kitchen
• Demonstrated ability to conduct nutritional assessments, develop patient-specific nutrition care plans, and monitor outcomes.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Participate in staff training and continuing education
• Be willing and prepared to answer customers on dietary queries from time to time.

The successful applicant preferably should have the following:

• Degree in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition
• Post Graduate studies in Nutrition, Health service Management or other related felids would be an advantage
• 5 years’ experience in similar role
• Knowledge of PC skills (MS Word, Excel, Email, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Food and Safety Act
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Understanding of Food Safety and OHS principles and standards
