Oceania Hospitals Pte Limited is seeking a qualified, motivated, and passionate Station Chef to join our Dietetics & Nutrition Department. This role is responsible for ensuring the preparation, production, and delivery of high-quality meals for hospital patients while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer service.

Reporting to Manager – Dietetics & Nutrition (through the Head Chef), your primary responsibilities are to:
- Prepare and present nutritious, high-quality meals in accordance with patient dietary requirements and hospital standards.
- Maintain exceptional food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices.
- Assist with food preparation, meal production, and timely meal delivery to patients and the hospital café.
- Ensure kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas are clean, organised, and properly maintained.
- Support inventory management, stock control, and food storage procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Comply with all health, safety, and infection prevention policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager – Dietetics & Nutrition or Head Chef.
The successful applicant preferably should have the following:
- Recognised Certificate in Trade Cookery, Food Nutrition, Food Management, Commercial Cookery, or a related qualification from a recognised institution.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar culinary or food service role.
- Sound knowledge of Food Safety legislation and HACCP principles.
- Strong understanding of food preparation, kitchen operations, and safe food handling practices.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and maintain high standards of hygiene and professionalism.
- Physically fit and flexible to work shifts as required.
An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate commensurate with qualifications and experience.
