We are seeking a service-oriented, engaging, experienced Customer Service Officer to join our frontline team. The incumbent must be personable, highly attentive, with a can-do attitude. able to work quickly in fast-paced environments. The role involves working with clients of diverse backgrounds in the provision of health care services. VAC. 59/2025 CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER
Reporting to the Manager Customer Service, your primary responsibilities are to:
- Provide an initial point of contact for external and internal queries relating to the hospital’s services.
- Reception / Front-Office Management
- Provision of adequate and timely information in response to inquiries,
- Attending to concerns and requests about hospital products and services.
- Addressing and handling customer complaints
- Operate the Switch Board and direct calls to relevant departments
- Critically think and analyse situations to assist patient.
The successful applicant preferably should have the following:
- Diploma in either Hospitality Management, Business Management or Office Administration
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the related field of work
- Must be an active listener to be able to provide relevant and helpful information.
- Must be adaptable and attentive to a wide range of customer needs.
- Must possess good telephone etiquette, and excellent Customer Orientation Skills
- Capable of working collaboratively with colleagues
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be flexible to work in a 24-hour hospital environment
An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate commensurate with qualifications and experience.
