Dr. Tupou Wata has been in the medical fraternity for 32 years and she started her career at the CWM Hospital as an Obstetrics and Gynecologists. She was previously with the Navua Hospital as a medical officer and attended Ultrasound training in Nepean Hospital, Sydney.
She has also done regional work for AUSAID in various Pacific Island countries.
Since 2013 she has been running her own private clinic called Mercy Clinic Ltd for which she is a director and simultaneously works with Oceania Hospitals Pte Ltd.

1994 – Diploma in Obstetrics from RANZCOG
1998 – Diploma in Women’s Health from the University of Melbourne
1999 – Masters in Women’s Health from the University of Melbourne
2002 – Masters of Medicine Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Fiji School of Medicine
