Dr Jonetani Kama is an experienced Radiologist Specialist. In general, his scope of work includes Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology.
He initially joined as a trainee Radiologist Register at CWM Hospital. He then attained a scholarship and joined the Radiologist Training Programme at the Melbourne University doing his Master’s and RANZCR training programme. He also attained a Certificate in Professional Management.
While in Melbourne he worked at the Alfred Hospital Radiology Unit for 3 years and was trained in all major scope of Radiology. He also worked and attached for 3 months each at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne, Mercy Women’s Hospital, Melbourne and Northern Hospital Radiology in Epping, Victoria.
Upon returning to Fiji Dr. Kama worked at the CWM Hospital for 2 years before attaining a sponsorship for 4 months training in Intentional Radiology at Japan Cancer Centre in Tokyo. He worked for 2 years as the Specialist Radiologist at the LBJ Hospital in American Samoa and is currently with Oceania Hospitals Pte Ltd and other private clinics in Fiji. Dr. Kama is also on the Immigration Panel Radiologist for Australia, New Zealand, Canada and USA and on the panel as Mentor Medical students for University of Melbourne.
His duties in Oceania Hospitals include both Inpatient and Outpatient Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology procedures.
